How to select thermal pad in right thickness?

Answer: Generally, according to the gap height. As per the data provided by customer, we usually recommend the thickness of compressed 20%-50%, which will be still close to the gap height. For example, if the gap height is 1.5mm, we can recommend 2.0mm thick; after compressed 25%, the thickness would be in accordance with the gap height. This thickness can not only ensure to fulfill the gap, but also avoid excessive stress.
